Intelligent Process Modeling

At the heart of FF/cam's exceptional abilites is Intelligent Process Modeling.
This technology provides the ability for users to quickly and effictively program any part without worring about gouging, collissions, or tool breakage.
More than a simple template, FF/cam’s Intelligent Process Modeler can automate your processes utilizing your unique parts and tooling.
This allows standardization that will:
- Minimize Mistakes
- Provide Consistent Results
- Yield Consistent Quality of Work
FF/cam’s Intelligent Process Modeler allows you to Completely Model Your Entire Manufacturing ProcessMachining processes can be registered that contain the types of
machining methods matching the conditions of your
shop, including the kinds, materials and sizes of the workpieces
machined and the machine tools used. With FF/cam, the
accumulated expertise of experienced operators can be put into
the database for everyone to share.
Machining Conditions Database
FF/cam's Machining Knowledge Database is Based on Over 30 Years of Testing and Can be Edited to Suit Your NeedsThe FF/Machining Conditions database contains over 2,000 types of conditions for solid ball end mills alone. The machining conditions contained in the database are suitable for machining a wide variety of materials, ranging from carburized steels, pre-hardened steels and high-hardness steels to aluminum materials.
Machining conditions are generated for achieving high efficiency with respect to machining time, machining accuracy and tool life, while taking into account the deflection and deformation that can occur during the machining process depending on the diameter and length of the tools used. The spindle speed, feedrate and depth of cut are all determined automatically.
FF/cam's comprehensive machining condition database is particulary suitable for machining in the high-speed range at 40,000 RPM. It facilitates safe machining even with small-diameter tools of less than 1 mm in diameter.
Improved Quality

FF/cam's SQL based machining and process databases make it possible to
constantly update and accumulate the latest machining
expertise for shared use by everyone. The quality of
NC data throughout the entire shop will be improved by
thoroughly eliminating waste and accumulating effective
machining know-how.
